Gotcha Day 2010

On Wednesday, March 3, 2010, the adoption papers were signed! The hearing and rulings were on the 11th of February, but we did not get the orders signed until yesterday. This gave us the opportunity to let the Judge meet Josh, take pictures, and watch her sign the papers.

It was two years ago today that we brought him home. It was not something we were seeking and it was only suppose to be for a short time...

But God had other plans for us and for Josh. We have been very blessed (and challenged - more on that later). So "Gotcha Day", which I stole from Bart Barber, is now officially March 3, 2010.

We had interesting weather the day of the hearing. We set a record for snowfall in a 24 hour period with 12.5 inches! All four boys were outside playing in the snow and celebrating. We had to postpone our big celebration at Chuck E. Cheese that night until the following week. After the signing today, we again took Josh to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate. There was only one other child there, so the three of us had the run of the place.

God has truly been good to us!
